Ginger Brooks – Owner and Realtime Court Reporter
As a native Mississippian, Ginger Brooks knew after attending school in Texas that home was where she wanted to begin her career. In 1985 Ginger opened Brooks Court Reporting and by 1989, Brooks Court Reporting became the first firm to offer “Realtime” services in the state of Mississippi.
In the past 30 years Ginger has grown Brooks Court Reporting to be one of the largest court reporting firms incorporated in the state with offices in Jackson, Meridian and Gulfport, Mississippi. Ginger is a Certified Realtime Reporter and is Certified in Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.
Brooks has since opened another office in New Orleans and Shreveport, Louisiana, Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, and Birmingham, Alabama. Brooks Court Reporting offers statewide and nationwide coverage to meet your total litigation needs.
In 2014, Ginger opened Realtime Advantage to provide the same level of service in New York City.
In 2021, Ginger acquired Cleeton Davis Court Reporters, one of the most well-respected court reporting firms in Nashville, TN.

Kenny S. Medley, Sr. – Production Manager
Kenny is the Production Manager and Client Support Team Member for Brooks Court Reporting where he ensures the daily operations and production run smoothly. Since he joined the Brooks team in 1999, he maintains transcript production, monthly billing, video conferencing and web conferencing.
Kenny is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He moved to Mississippi in 1980 where he is currently a resident of Ridgeland, MS.
He is an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and currently serves as an officer for Holy Family Men’s Club.
Kenny has been married to Poteat Medley for over 21 years and has one son Kenny II. He is also the proud grandfather to Khloe Medley.
